 Today in class we went over the different steps in writing an essay. I Learned how to start my essay because i have recently forgotten how to do that so that is a good recap for me. I plan to use this information on the essay we have to write about next week about the play fences. What I like about this lesson is that it is a good way for me to study so I can do well in my writing next week. Today school went very well.

 Today in class we finished reading the play "Fences". Reading this play I learned that society back in the day was way different from the way we live today. This impacted me because it is very sad how life was back then. The sad part is that the problems people had back then, Many may still face those same problems today. What I liked about this lesson was the play it was a very interesting play and not boring. I am feeling very good today. 

 Today in class we went over how to write a proper essay.Today in class I learned about the different types of thesis statements. I also learned how to start an introduction paragraph and how to end a concluding paragraph. What I liked about the lesson is that we got to go over all this information so I could be more prepared for the essay. Today school is going very well.

 Today in class we are finishing up reading "Fences". I learned that society back in the day was way different from the way we live today. Looking back at this I am thankful for what i have and am able to do today. Something I like about this lesson is that we read fences. It is a really interesting play. I am feeling very good today, I am caught up in all my classes.

 Today in class we took a reading assessment with 6 multiple choice questions. While i was reading the story from the assignment we took today I learned that Many people enjoy reading and that is a good way for them to express themselves and relate to others. This impacted me because i also like to relate to others, knowing i am not the only one that has a similar problem. I really like this lesson because it teaches me a lot. I am feeling very happy today because it is a Friday.

 My name is Jose Moreno. I was born here in Atlanta, Georgia but my family are from Mexico. I am 17 years old, My birthday is on June 6. I am really athletic, I like to play different types of sports for fun. The sport I mainly enjoy playing is soccer. I've been playing soccer since I was 10 years old. Soccer is a really great way for me to relieve stress and have fun. I also like to listen to music and play video games when i have free time. That is all I have to share about the things I enjoy doing in my life.

 Today in class we resumed reading "Fences" by August Wilson and we even got to watch a short clip about the scene we just read. In our lesson today I learned how African American people have struggled to have equality. This impacted me because it is unfair what they had to go through in the past. It made me think about how life was for them back in the day. Something i really like about this lesson is that i get to read. i like reading. I feel good today, school is going well and I can't wait to get home.

 Today in class we read "Fences" by August Wilson. Reading "Fences" I learned that Racism can have a huge effect on those who are affected by it. This impacted me because it is really sad that this is still going around til this day. Something i really like about this Lesson is that it gets to bring more knowledge to this topic. How it was back in the day. I am feeling well today, school went very well today!
