 Today in class we watched a Ted Talk. This was about how the speaker tells the story of how she found her authentic cultural voice and warns that if we hear only a single story about another person or country, we risk a critical misunderstanding. I learned that Our lives, our cultures, are composed of many overlapping stories. School is going well today.

     As im approaching the end of high school, Im feeling really excited to start a new journey. During this school year I managed to get better grades and stay on top of my assignments, That is something I haven't been doing in the past. I am really excited to graduate,it would really make me and my family happy. Throughout the school year ive met incredible people.  Today in class we went over a poem. The theme of "The Red Wheelbarrow" by William Carlos Williams is the modern relationship between man and nature. This seemingly simple poem combines man's tools and domination of the natural world with nature. A wheelbarrow is an important tool, which the poem asserts. The color red highlights its importance further.

 Today in class we did an assignment on newsela. This assignment was based on sneakers. I learned that many sneakers leave plastic behind. I also learned that many sneakers cant be recycled. School is going well so far!!.
